Wexford Science & Technology, LLC today announced that three additional companies have moved into Connect Labs by Wexford Phoenix, as Phoenix’s premier flexible lab and innovation community, located on the Phoenix Biosciences Core, continues to grow.

Exodigm, Crystal Sonic and Medi Life have all moved into Connect Labs in recent weeks, occupying dynamic lab and office space as they continue to scale their companies.

  • ExoDigm Biosciences is an Arizona State University spinout developing a biologically inspired amphiphilic DNA nanodevice for sensing membrane-enclosed RNA molecules without cell lysis, RNA extraction, or PCR amplification.

  • Crystal Sonic is an Arizona State University spinout that supports next generation semiconductor manufacturers in reducing waste and cost by enabling thin device lift-off and substrate re-use.

  • Medi Life Healthcare Solutions is a medical device manufacturer and a full service domestic medical supply chain with a focus on R&D and quality control.

“We’re excited to join the Connect Labs by Wexford community as we continue to grow our business from our roots at ASU,” said Arno Merkle, CEO and Co-founder of Crystal Sonic. “This is a high-quality lab and support environment where we can continue our mission while also learning from and building relationships with other founders, entrepreneurs and scientists.”

Located in 850 PBC, Connect Labs by Wexford offers 35,000 square feet of private and secure lab and office space with concierge reception and lab management, access to conference rooms, a fully stocked breakroom, community events, access to and training for core lab equipment in partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific, discounts on lab equipment, consumables and preferred vendor services, and introductions to vetted service providers and advisors. The space includes move-in ready labs ranging from 250 to 6,000 square feet, and office suites that range from single desks up to 12-desk team office layouts.

Additional companies located in Connect Labs include ElectraTect, a Phoenix-based startup developing a breathalyzer for THC; BacVax, a University of Arizona spinout developing a bacterial vaccine; and Regenesis Biomedical, a Scottsdale-based company developing non-drug pain treatments.

“The continued interest in Connect Labs by Wexford from a wide range of life science and advanced technology companies demonstrates the need for high-quality flexible lab and office space that brings together entrepreneurs and scientists into a cohesive and collaborative community,” said Kyle Jardine, vice president for Wexford Science & Technology. “We’re excited to welcome ExoDigm, Crystal Sonic, and Medi Life to the Connect Labs and PBC ecosystem.”
